both are corporate grills slapped onto a mix bin of thoughts, ideas, parts, and execution. Why didn’t Alissa Walker crush this?

They both elect the same “aint care” from me. I’ve given up with the idea that car companies wont turn all the things into a crossover.

I really don’t know why I have such a visceral hatred for both of these vehicles (having driven neither). If you really, truly need a vehicle in this class, get the Volvo XC90, the Land Cruiser, or a Range Rover and be done with it. Stop drawing attention to yourself.

The Maserati isn’t quite as ‘swoopy’ as the concept or renderings and the Bentley while way better than the concept, now that thing was ugly, I would still have to vote for the Bentley.
There’s nothing special about the Bentley at all, in the looks department.

The Maserati due to that smile. I’m fine with the Bentley that said it looked better on GTA 5 some how.

Isn’t the Bentayga over 200k? There is nothing for it to compete against
If the horrid
QX50
Maserati is around Cayenne range, I have to brace myself now for the day I see one. These both take badge snobbery to a whole new level.

Maserati looks OK, but I can’t have an opinion yet. Bentley is hideous but it’s so phenomenal I love it anyway.

Perhaps it’s just the passage of time, but I’ve gotten used to the Cayenne, especially since I saw one towing a food cart on 6th Avenue last year.

I have always liked the cayenne

Yes.

The refresh looks better than the first one. If it’s not jacked or with fancy wheels, it’s acceptable. And I’ve seen a couple Macans in traffic, and they just look like a Cayenne that was mistakenly washed on the hot cycle.

when the Macan first came out, I thought it was a dumb little thing. Then my neighbor got one in white with black accents and I really liked it

I actually like the Bentley, and i think in the right configuration they can look pretty good. I was a fan of the Kubang but the Levante is very heavy looking, not attractive at all

Don’t get me wrong - if someone tossed me the keys to a Bentayga I’d drive the crap out of it. Just please - don’t let anyone I know see me.

Well, the Bentley is a bit less fussy..

Fair enough ....

the bentayga is less crazy at least, and is actually just a rebadged, restyled, leathered up Q7, so therefore Bentley takes the win

It’s that close to the Audi? Eh, I suppose you could spring from worse parentage. The Ghost is a reworked 7 series, and that’s not an awful thing.

Both

Oh the Levante is so much worse. The Bentayga isn’t an attractive car by many means, but with the exception of the front fascia which is 70% grill, it’s more simple and possibly understated. The Levante is a weird shape, and while the detailing isn’t crazy or obnoxious, it really doesn’t work at all.

I think I like your analysis ... better the Bentley. Not by much, but better.
